pretty happy

i just came back from an afternoon spent in ho chi minh city's museum, the zoo, and a date night with my girlfriend at a pizza place.

i also just finished posting my updates for the day on twitter.

it’s great to see some reactions and hope my new posting format will be more digestible for readers.

now, i open my reddit and see that i’ve got a lot of dm’s left unanswering.

i just counted and see that i’ve sent around two dozen DMs this week and received around 10 answers so 40% hit rate, which ends up looking not bad.

i could potentially optimize further and softly follow-up but i’m really thinking that creating content might be the best move (i.e. pull the market):

  1. on reddit
  2. on tiktok

for reddit, i’m thinking that i’ll just make a general post to explain my journey dealing with someone who has endometriosis and how i came to create an app for it.

for tiktok, i’ve saved a few formats that went viral, so i’ll have to start creating content keeping them in mind.

we’ve also delayed our move to the farm - we had initially planned to go to my girlfriend’s parents’ this weekend (actually today) but this won’t happen until the 12th.

the reason being: we’ve got a bunch of students checking in that day and my girlfriend wants to make sure she’s there that day. wise choice, we’ve got a few things to handle with the landlord from whom we’re renting a building from.

i never told you but, yes, we’re running a small real estate business in our part of the town!

anyway, i’m so excited.

i quickly set up a signup page yesterday (an email waitlist) for endolog, built a bare minimum website using nextjs, and just embedded a youform form in there that i hooked up with mailerlite and zapier for the welcome emails.

it took a bit of tweaking to do but couldn’t have gone easier! :)

it’s now 21:00, me and my girlfriend might want to watch something before we go to bed (or not at all, not going to lie i feel slightly dizzy).

see you tomorrow!
